Robert underwent a successful triple heart bypass on Monday. He is making a good recovery but will be out of action until further notice. Thanks very much for all the well wishes received. Please check back here for updates.

Robert continues to make good progress but is still unable to lift anything heavy and still gets very tired and needs to rest in the afternoons. He is building up his walking and is now up to doing 2 miles a day. He has a hospital appointment mid July, after which he will reassess the position workwise. Please check here for updates.

Hi,
I'm feeling lots better now after my operation in May. Thanks to all who sent best wishes whilst I was out of action, myself and family really appreciate your kind thoughts.
I will be able to process orders from Monday the 9th of August.
I'm walking every day to keep fit and hope to be back on a bike (pedal) soon, I've given up motorcycles until next spring.

I regret I will be unable to attend the LE Club National Rally on September 26th due to other commitments. Apologies for any inconvenience caused, and for the short notice, but due to other things on my mind I didn't think to put an announcement in the Club magazine until it was too late.

Silent Stainless was formed in 1994 by myself, Robert Cross, to supply stainless steel components for the Velocette L.E., Valiant and Vogue motorcycles. Being a Velocette enthusiast myself and restoring my 1953 MKII L.E. and 1957 Valiant, I needed stainless steel components and decided to supply other owners with quality stainless parts too.
What's in a name?
You may be wondering where the Silent Stainless name came from. The L.E. Velo introduced in 1948 was a very quiet motorcycle and became known as the "Silent L.E.". Originally I concentrated on providing components for the L.E. so "Silent Stainless" seemed a fitting name.

Europe: Up to the value of £20.00 add £3.00, orders over the value £20.00 add 15%. Maximum charge £45.00.
Rest of the World: Up to the value of £20.00 add £5.00, orders over the value £20.00 add 25%. Maximum charge £75.00
Overseas: all orders sent by airmail.
